Hinkle commits to Division I Central Michigan field hockey


Kianne Hinkle signed a letter of intent to play Division I field hockey at Central Michigan University on February 1. The Camden senior finished her high school career with 51 goals and 31 assists and Section III Class B titles the past three seasons. Hinkle has played field hockey with the Broome County Field Hockey Club in Binghamton for three years and participated in the National Futures Championship in Virginia Beach, National Field Hockey Festival in Arizona and Disney Showcase in Florida. 
Hinkle (center) is surrounded by (clockwise) mother Cindy Hinkle, Camden assistant Diana "Schinny" Carpenter, Camden varsity coach Shannon McPheron and father Jack Hinkle. McPheron played her college field hockey at Central Michigan.
