Morrisville youth Blodgett accumulates figure skating wins

Figure skater Hailey Blodgett, 8, of Morrisville continues to impress judges and Colgate ice hockey fans with her routines. 
Hailey competed in the Juvenile Girls Free Skate (60) at the Empire State Winter Games in Lake Placid on Feb. 3, 2012 and took home the gold in the event. 
The youth followed that win up with three gold medals at the Snow Town Invitational in Watertown on February 18. 
Hailey is coached by former Olympian Lisa Ervin-Baudo and is a regular performer at intermission of Colgate ice hockey games.

Hinkle commits to Division I Central Michigan field hockey


Kianne Hinkle signed a letter of intent to play Division I field hockey at Central Michigan University on February 1. The Camden senior finished her high school career with 51 goals and 31 assists and Section III Class B titles the past three seasons. Hinkle has played field hockey with the Broome County Field Hockey Club in Binghamton for three years and participated in the National Futures Championship in Virginia Beach, National Field Hockey Festival in Arizona and Disney Showcase in Florida.
